Job Title: Associate Technical Product Manager

Reports To: Senior Product Manager

Location: Alpharetta, GA (Hybrid) 


Summary: 

Priority is a payments powerhouse building solutions that offers a full suite of products for various industry segments including SMB, B2B and Enterprise payments. We are looking for an experienced product/ payments professional with a sound technical background to join our organization who will be the leader and evangelist in crafting exceptional customer experience that delight our merchants, customers, and businesses. You must have a passion to build outstanding payments software products and enjoy solving challenging problems. You should have worked in product management teams using agile/ scrum methodologies and be able to show that you have put out software product releases to production with a strong customer base.


Job Responsibilities:

Business Stakeholder & Roadmap Management

  • Engage with business stakeholders to understand and gather requirements.
  • Groom business requests on a continuous basis, and work with senior TPMs to help align requests for consumption in upcoming releases.

Product & Sprint Management

  • Become a subject matter expert on your products. 
  • Define and document detailed solutions that are actionable by engineering to help deliver high-quality releases to our customers. Defining solutions could involve API definition, third party software integrations, flow charts, sequence diagrams and user interaction flows.
  • Work closely with Engineering/ QA/ Deployment teams as well as business stakeholders to hit product roadmap goals. 

Process Adherence

  • Adhere to established SDLC, Operational and Audit processes. Iterate and improve, where required, with consensus.
  • Help to maintain dashboards and metrics including but not limited to the roadmap and releases including solution handovers, production issues and RCAs, planned v/s delivered ratio and delayed releases.


Job Requirements:

  • 2-5 years in Technical Product Management with industry experience.
  • Experience working with SaaS products, Java stacks, and REST APIs is preferred.
  • Experience using JIRA/ Confluence is a big plus.
  • Experience working in an agile scrum setup, planning sprints, and working closely with engineering and QA teams to help deliver releases to customers will be preferred.
  • Knowledge or exposure to Balsamiq, Lucidchart, Figma, InVision, Illustrator or other design tools is a big plus.
  • Experience working with global teams is a plus.
  • Knowledge of database systems is preferred. Working with and analyzing high volumes of data is advantageous.
  • Understanding of pricing, compliance / regulatory and reconciliation concepts is a big plus.
  • Possess an innate sense for workable collaboration models, an ability to work effectively in a geographically distributed environment, and to work constructively with developers, QA, Product managers and Management towards a common goal.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel).
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills & confident public speaking skills.
  • Able to analyze problems and strategize for creative solutions through critical thinking and product innovation.
  • High motivation and desire to do whatever it takes to help the customer, the team and our company succeed.
  • Payments/Banking or relevant professional experience.
