Job Title: BIP Sales Development Manager

Reports To: Sr Director, BIP

Job Type: Full Time/ Exempt

Location: Alpharetta, GA


The Sales Development Manager is responsible for leading a team of Supplier Enablement Partners and B2B Specialist and driving merchant acceptance in support of key Global Commercial Payment clients.  The Sales Development Manager will drive results for multiple B2B products/solutions designed to improve Buyer and Supplier satisfaction and increase brand presence. 

Job Functions & Duties:

  • Leads a team of Enablement Partners and B2B Specialist that support multiple client management sales channels with focused sales support such as B2B product suite knowledge, account maintenance, information gathering, training, pricing, sales strategy, selling, charge volume activation and bridging the gap between Global Merchant Services and the Global Commercial Payments side 

  • Helps improve upon engagement, activation, growth, profitability and retention rates, and works on complex client issues 

  • Partners with Leadership team to drive operational efficiencies and sales improvements

  • Manages team performance against goals and sales forecasts, executes operating plans and ensures sales objectives are met with a sense of urgency

  • Establishes, tracks and reports on metrics to measure performance including activities and corrects deficiencies where necessary for the team

  • Maintains and promotes a successful and positive work environment; trains new hires and provides coaching and mentoring to direct reports.

  • Complete individual performance evaluations on an annual basis, supported by ongoing feedback, objective setting, motivation and skills development

  • Performance management through monitoring, one on one coaching, sales strategizing and when necessary, formal improvement planning

  • Maintaining an outstanding level of professionalism through hiring, setting behavior, expectations, coaching and developing a team of enablement professionals.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 year degree from an accredited college or university

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in managing and directing successful teams

  • Minimum of 3 years sales experience in credit card process/merchant acquiring, commercial payments, mortgage lending, insurance sales or recruiting. Will consider other B2B experience with a proven track record of success

  • Must have excellent accuracy, follow up and attention to detail

  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent problem analysis, problem-solving, and reporting abilities

  • Strong Customer relations and relationship building skills

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience in all aspects of Planning, Execution, and Sales Strategies

  • Must be assertive in driving Charge Volume through the team

  • Must be able to communicate at various organizational levels including senior leadership 

  • Excellent ability to motivate a team to drive exceptional results

  • Maintain above average performance rating in key metric areas

  • Experience in Coaching, Developing, and Training

  • Excellent Time Management Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Sales Force, Intermediate or Advanced Experience in Excel
