Job Title: Risk Analyst II
Reports to: Risk Manager
Location: Hicksville

SUMMARY:

Performs risk analysis studies in order to maintain maximum protection of an organization's assets. General risk exposure sign-off up to $15,000.


JOB FUNCTIONS & DUTIES:

  • Complete assigned reviews and tasks in a timely fashion while assisting lower level team members.
  • Manage phone queue and agent merchant/escalations.
  • Assist with additional tasks when available.
  • Place holds and initiate funding releases when necessary. 
  • Assist senior level team members with cases or additional tasks. 
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks.
  • Investigates any incidences that may result in asset loss and compiles findings in reports for further review.
  • Works under general supervision but is expected to manage daily case load and make decisions on cases.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred with 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
  • Quick learning and able to adapt to changing work environment
  • Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; able to handle a situation under pressure and find a solution; uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics.


PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to receive and analyze data and input data into the computer. 
  • Sound ability to make decisions
  • Must be a good communicator and able to take directions , but also give directions as well
