Job Description

Job Title: Telecom Engineer Tier 1
Reports to: Direct of Telecom
Location: Alpharetta, GA (temporarily remote)

Provide appropriate support within the Telecom onboarding/off-boarding process such as configuring phones, voice apps, and user profiles. Help on managing Vonage, Nice InContact, Ring-Central, 8x8, AT&T and Verizon telecom accounts, by evaluating new and managing current features.

  • Managing/configuring telecom equipment, and providing support to local/remote users.
  • Work with different Vendors to evaluate features that can be utilized within infrastructure, and on rising issues. 
  • Manage, and improve the voice network infrastructure by utilizing the best practice, and modern technologies.
  • Assisting other teams on the Telecom projects, features implementation, or meeting their requirements.
  • Maintaining track of telecom equipment, and licensing. 
  • Document all changes, and keep telecom confluence up to date.
  • Will act as a back-up for the Director of Telecom.

  • 2-3 years of experience in telecom support, phone provisioning, and contact center management.
  • Knowledge of layer 1-3 networking
  • Detail oriented, with good organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

  • 2-3 years of experience working with different telecom vendors (Nice InContact, Vonage, 8x8, and Ring-Central)
  • Project management skills.
